Using an SD card reduces the need to store camera recordings on the cloud. To reduce data usage we recommend switching off Video Upload Service. With an SD card installed, you will retain all functionality and quality of the camera and all events will be captured to the card.

Turn off video upload service

1. From the home app screen, click on the cameras tab on the bottom right, then click the camera thumbnail.
2. Under "Live" view, click on the gear symbol (settings) in the top right corner.
3. Select "My Cloud" and turn off "video upload service" (not green)
