It is recommended that you test your alarm system regularly to ensure all audio functions are working properly. Your panel offers two different audio tests, each designed to test a specific function.

Sound vs. Siren Audio Tests

  • Sound Audio – Tests the voice audio of the panel (system prompts and announcements).
  • Siren Audio – Tests the alarm siren used during an alarm event.

Step-by-Step: Testing Sound and Siren Audio

Follow the steps below to test your system’s audio:

  1. Tap Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner of the panel).
  2. Enter your 4-digit Master Code.
  3. Select System.
  4. Tap Test System.
  5. Tap Test next to Sound Audio and Siren Audio, following the on-screen instructions.

Best Practices

  • Test audio functions periodically to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform siren tests during appropriate hours, as the alarm sound may be loud.
